Green building incorporates the use of rapidly renewable resources and recycled materials with sustainable design that limits the impact or “carbon footprint” left on our environment. The energy efficiency achieved through green building practices lessens the amount of natural resources consumed by a building resulting in payback through reduced energy

What is LEED?
LEED® is a nationally accepted green building certification program. This program of the U.S. Green Building Council uses a rating system that awards credits in five categories: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials, and indoor environmental quality. Four levels of green building certification can be awarded based on the total number of credits earned. LEED certification assures that a building project meets the highest standards in environmentally-friendly construction.
